Following the funding news in June, drrkmill writes "Looks like the location-based game GPS Mission has started publishing live-player GPS-tracks on the internet. Activities are at max one day old. I don’t know the update time but it “looks” live (whatever that may mean). And it is an online game, so players don"t upload these positions themselves — they are transmitted from the cell phone. There is an anonymous mode (signified by a shades-symbol) and a mode that shows the user name. Clicking users shows a popup with tracks. Most are really short, but some look quite nice. May be this might serve as an interesting annex to the DOJ-story from a few days ago." If you"re looking for games, there are about 20 geospatial games related stories here.
