A new Web-GIS OS application: GeoAdminSuite PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 04 August 2008 03:21
Camptocamp has developed a new Open Source project, it is called GeoAdminSuite . Their main objective is to improve the management of geospatial data coming from heterogeneous sources (local files, databases located on different computers). GeoAdminSuite version 0.9 is composed of 4 logical parts: server selector, catalog, composer and publisher. GeoAdminSuite (based on Java technologies) uses three Open Source components: MapServer as web-mapping server, MapFish as web-mapping application and Geotools as geospatial data manager. The goal of this publication is to get feedback from developers and users to see if this project is interested for the open source geospatial community. See the web site of GeoAdminSuite to get more information: http://www.geoadminsuite.org/
